|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm)|
|Egg noodles||5 Ounce|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Green onions and tops||6|
|Grated cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt shortening in skillet; add beef.
Cook until lightly browned; break up pieces with fork.
Drain off fat; add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, sugar and gar- lic.
Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Cook noodles ac- cording to package directions; drain.
Blend sour cream, cream cheese and onions into beef mixture.
Pour small amount of beef mixture into greased cas- serole; cover with layer of noodles and grated cheese.
Repeat layers; top with beef sauce.
Bake in 350- degree oven for 35 minutes.
