Ground Beef Shish Kabob

Ingredients
  Sassafras sticks 6
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Corn flakes 1 Cup (16 tbs), crushed
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Cut 6 sassafras sticks 1 inch in diameter and about 30 inches long.
Peel off bark 4 to 6 inches from one end.
Combine all ingredients in bowl.
Divide into 6 portions; press each portion on sassafras stick.
Broil over hot coals, turning frequently, until of desired doneness.
