Ground Beef Mix
|Onions||4 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Chopped celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1 Large|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground beef||4 Pound|
|Catsup||28 Ounce (2 Bottles, 14 Ounce Each)|
|Tomato sauce||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Saute the onions, garlic, celery and the green pepper in the Dutch oven with a little oil till soft and cooked through.
2. Add the ground meat and cook till brown and cooked through. Drain the pan drippings
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes till done. Set aside to cool. This mixture can then be spooned into freezer cups and stored for 3 months in a deep freeze.
4. Use as a mixture for hamburgers, pizza toppings, sandwich filling or in chilies.
