Peppers Stuffed with Beef
|Green peppers||4 Medium|
|Ground beef mix||2 Cup (32 tbs), thawed|
|Cooked rice||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Regular)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
|Ingredients for the ground beef mix|
|Ground beef mix||3 Cup (48 tbs), thawed|
|Cream of mushroom soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce, undiluted (1 Can)|
|Sliced mushrooms||8 Ounce, undrained (2 Can, 4 Ounce Each)|
|Commercial sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Preheat the oven to 375°
2. Clean the green peppers by removing the top of the peppers and their seeds
3. Cook the peppers for four minutes in boiling water and drain.
4. Combine a readymade beef mix with rice and stuff the rice into the prepared peppers.
5. Place these in a shallow baking dish and bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle wit cheese and bake gain for 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot
Prepare the beef mix by combining onion, garlic and celery and saute till done. Reduce heat and simmer again for 5 minutes. Add the sour cream and cook again for 5 minutes.
