Ingredients
  Standing rib roast 8 Pound
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Pre heat an oven at 162.5 C (325 F).

MAKING
2. Place roast, fat side up, in a shallow baking pan.
3. Rub meat surface with garlic and roast in pre heated oven as desired.
4. Note that for a 6 lb roast, 70 C (140 F) for 2 ¼ hrs is rare, 80 C (160 F) for 2 ½ hrs is medium, 85 C (170 F) for 3 1/3 hrs is well done.
5. Note that for an 8 lb roast, 70 C (140 F) for 3 hrs is rare, 80 C (160 F) for 3 ½ hrs is medium, 85 C (170 F) for 4 1/2 hrs is well done.

SERVING
6. Remove on to a roast platter and carve as desired.
