Oven Glazed Corned Beef

Ingredients
  Corned beef brisket 5 Pound (1 In Number)
  Onions 2
  Whole cloves 6
  Bay leaves 2
  Peppercorns 6
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), peeled
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Dijon mustard 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Into a kettle place the corn beef and cover with cold water
2) Into the brisket, stud with onions and cloves
3) Tip in the peppercorns, bay leaves and garlic cloves
4) Cover and bring to a boil
5) Simmer on very low flame for about 4 hours till the meat turns tender
6) Allow the meat to cool in the stock
7) Remove the brisket to a shallow pan
8) Place another shallow pan over the brisket with some objects over it to keep the brisket down
9) Place into the refrigerator for an hour with the weights
10) Take off the weights and wrap the meat and refrigerate overnight
11) Mix together the brown sugar an d mustard and baste over the beef brisket
12) Bake in a preheated oven till thickly coated for 30 minutes at 350 F

SERVING
13) Slice thinly and serve with some boiled vegetables
