|Meaty beef shank bone||4 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Powdered sage||1 Tablespoon|
|Unflavored gelatin||1 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Cold water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 In a pan, put the meat and cover with water.
2 Add in the onion and all seasonings, except sage.
3 Simmer until the meat pulls from bone.
4 Remove the meat from the broth.
5 Tear using forks until finely shredded.
6 Add sage to the liquid.
7 Cook until reduced to 3 cups.
8 In a bowl, soften gelatin in cold water.
9 Add to the broth.
10 Place the broth in the refrigerator and chill until syrupy.
11 Add in the meat.
12 Pour the mixture into the loaf pan.
13 Place in the refrigerator and chill until firm.
14 Slice thinly and serve with a sauce preferably Fluffy Horse-radish Sauce.
