Ground beef - 1 pound
Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
Shortening - 1 tbsp
Condensed chicken gumbo, tomato, golden mushroom, vegetable, or cream of mushroom soup - 1 can (10 3/4 ounces)
Prepared mustard - 1 tablespoon
Buns-split and toasted
1. Take a skillet, add shortening into it and stir in beef and onion and cook until they turn soft. Remove the meat.
2. Drain off fat and stir in seasonings and soup.
3. Cook for another 5 minutes by stirring at occasional intervals.
4. Serve after garnishing on buns or prepared breads.
