Corned Beef Layer
|Unflavored gelatin||1⁄4 Ounce|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped sweet pickle||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned corned beef||12 Ounce|
Sprinkle gelatin on cold water in saucepan to soften.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin is dissolved.
Remove from heat; add salt and lemon juice; cool.
Gradually add to mayonnaise; mix in remaining ingredients.
Turn on top of almost, firm first layer and chill until firm.
Unmold on serving platter.
To serve, cut into squares.
