You can make quick and easy pot roast with just a couple of ingredients. It's so easy to do.
2 Pound (any cut, to fit size of crock pot)
Hidden valley ranch dressing mix
Brown gravy mix
Italian dressing mix
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
1. In a pot heat olive oil and sear the meat on both the sides for about 2 minutes on each side or until light browned.
2. In a preheat cork pot over very low heat, place the meat and add in ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, Italian dressing mix.
3. Stream the water, to cover up to half the roast, put the lid on and allow to cook for about 6 to 8 hours.
This dish is most suited to meat eaters. The chef has used the pot roast to cook the meat. If you have enough time on hand you can definitely try this recipe. You can serve this dish with carrots and potatoes.
