Sauteed Potato and Apple
|Potatoes||4 Large, peeled and cut into pieces|
|Tart apples||3 , peeled, cored and cut into quarters or eighths|
|Sugar||1 Tablespoon (Or To Taste)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Butter||4 Tablespoon (At Room Temperature)|
Cook the potatoes in water to cover for about 10 minutes or until they are about three-quarters soft.
Drain off about half of the water.
Add the apples, mix and cook until the apples are tender.
Mash or rice the mixture and season with salt and sugar to taste.
Stir in the nutmeg and the butter and beat until light.
