Beef And Red Wine Pot Roast

Ingredients
  Pot 3 Pound, roast
  Salt and pepper 1
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Red wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onions 3 , sliced
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Bay leaf 1
Directions

Season meat with salt and pepper.
Rub in flour.
Brown meat in melted butter on all sides.
Add wine and sliced onions.
Cook until onions wilt.
Add tomato paste, dissolved in water, and bay leaf.
Cover.
Simmer 3 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes or cooked rice.
