Gangbang Beef In Red Wine

Ingredients
  Beef rump 6 Pound
  Butter 4 Tablespoon, melted
  Canned tomatoes 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Onions 8 Medium, sliced
  Carrots 6 , sliced
  Celery stalks 2
  Red wine 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm), halved
  Whole black peppercorns 1 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 2
  Salt To Taste
  Beef broth 1 1⁄4 Quart
Directions

Brown meat on all sides in melted butter in skillet.
Transfer meat to a rack in covered roaster or Dutch oven.
Add tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, wine and seasonings.
Add broth to cover meat.
Roast at 3500 for about 2 1/2 hours, until meat is tender.
Remove meat to a hot platter and strain broth.
Serve broth hot with meat.
Serves 16 to 18.
