  Red onion 1

  Coriander roots 2
  Fresh coriander 2
  Black peppercorns 1 Teaspoon, crushed
  Light soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Lime juice 2 Teaspoon
  Thai fish sauce 2 Teaspoon (Nam Pla)
  Rib eye beef fillet 1 Pound (Scotch Fillet, In One Piece, 500 Grams)
  Beef rib eye 1 Pound (500 Grams, Scotch Fillet, In One Piece)
  Lettuce leaves 6
  Cherry tomatoes 6 Ounce, halved (185 Gram)
  Cucumber 1 , cut into strips lime wedges
  Cucumber 1 , cut into strips

Directions

GETTING READY
1. In a food processor process onion, garlic, coriander roots, peppercorns, soy sauce, lime juice and fish sauce to make a paste.

MAKING
2. With the spice mixture coat beef and cook over a medium charcoal or gas barbecue, turning occasionally, for 15 minutes or until beef is cooked to medium doneness.
3. Alternatively, bake beef in oven for 30-45 minutes or until cooked to medium doneness.

SERVING
4. On a serving plate arrange lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber.
5. Slicing the beef thinly arrange over lettuce and serve.
