Country Beef Steak

Ingredients
  Beef bottom round 1 Ounce
  Beef top steaks/Bottom round steak 5 Ounce (1 In Number)
  Vegetable oil 1 Teaspoon
  Canned tomatoes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Canned tomatoes 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped, drained
  Sliced celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced
  Mushrooms 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
For garnish
  Fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Green bell pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), diced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Vegetable juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), mixed
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Mixed vegetable juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion flakes 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the broiler.

MAKING
2 In the broiler pan, on a rack broil the steak for 5 minutes, turning once until rare.
3 In a 1-quart saucepan, add oil and heat.
4 Add in the tomatoes, celery, mushrooms, green pepper, and garlic and saute for 3 minutes.
5 Add in the vegetable juice, onion flakes, pepper, and salt and bring to a boil.
6 Add the steak and spoon the vegetable mixture over it.
7 Simmer covered for about 45 minutes, until meat is tender.

SERVING
8 Serve hot.
