Carlotta's One Dish Casserole

Ingredients
  Fine noodles 2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked
  Ground round steak 1 Pound
  Tomato soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Corn niblets 1 Can (10 oz)
  Grated sharp cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Cold water 120 Milliliter (1 Soup Can)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a large pan, heat the butter till melted
2. Add the onions and sauté them till they are pale brown
3. Add the meat and the stock and stir well till they are well cooked
4. Add the tomato soup and cold water
5. Add the noodles
6. Stir and cook for 8-10 minutes or till the noodles are tender. Add more water if required to get the right consistency of the sauce.
7. Season the mixture with salt and pepper
8. Add oregano and basil according to taste
9. Put in the corn and chopped green pepper too if required
10. Tip the mixture in to a large buttered casserole
11. Top with the grated cheese
12. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.

FINALIZING
13. Le the casserole stand in the oven for 15minutes before serving to ensure that the casserole is cooked

SERVING
14. Serve hot with paprika sprinkled on top
