Beef And Lentils

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium
  Whole cloves 3
  Water 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Lentils 1 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Beef 1 Pound, ground browned and drained (Use Less Quantity, If Needed)
  Beef 1 Pound, ground, browned and drained (Or Less)
  Ketchup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
Directions

MAKING
1) Insert cloves into whole onion. Keep aside.
2) In a large saucepan add water, lentils, salt, bay leaf, and whole onion with cloves. Mix thoroughly.
3) Simmer 30 minutes.
4) In slow cooker add all remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
5) Add the simmered ingredients from saucepan.
6) Add some water if mixture appears dry.
7) Cook until lentils are tender.
8) Cook covered on low for 6-8 hours.

SERVING
9) Serve hot.
