Eleanors Corned Beef And Cabbage
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Corned beef brisket||3 Pound|
|Apple juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), packed|
|Finely shredded orange peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
1) In the bottom of a slow cooker, evenly layer the beef on top of the onions.
2) In a bowl, mix apple juice, brown sugar, orange peel, cloves, and mustard. Pour the mixture over the meat.
3) Top it with cabbage.
4) Close the slow cooker with the lid and cook on LOW for 10 to12 hours or HIGH for 5 to 6 hours.
5) Serve hot over buns, pasta, rice, or potatoes.
