Yaka-mein

In this episode, we explore a local New Orleans Asian/Soul food soup called yaka-mein. It's a really easy noodle soup with Cajun and Asian flavors that you're gonna find very unique. Enjoy!
Ingredients
  Beef broth 1 Liter
  Spaghetti/Brown rice noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2 Medium (Hard boiled)
  Green onions 1 Medium, chopped finely
  Barbecued chicken/Barbecued pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Oyster sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. In a pan heat up 1 liter of really good quality beef broth.
2. Separately boil the noodles, strain and rinse them.

FINALIZING
2. In a bowl, add the cooked noodles, pour the beef broth over it, add the cooked Filipino barbecue into it. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, green onions and top it all with the hard boiled eggs halved.

SERVING
3. Serve warm.
