Sirloin Steak with Caramelized Onions
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Sweet onions||2 Large, sliced to make 4 cups|
|Dijon mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Beef boneless sirloin steak||1 Pound (About 1 Inch Thick)|
1 Heat the gas or charcoal grill.
2 In a 12 inch nonstick skillet heat oil over medium heat.Cook the onions in oil for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally until onions are soft and caramalized. Stir in mustard and soy sauce.
3 Sprinkle both the sides of beef steak with salt and pepper and place on the grill.Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes turning once.
4 Slice the steak thinly across grain and serve with onions.
