HI can i do this in a slow cooker and add mixed vegies
Samina.Tapia's picture
You most certainly can make this in a slow cooker. It will take about 7 to 8 hours so you can cook it overnight or while you are work. You can add veggies like carrots, baby onions, potatoes, turnips, parsnips, peas, cabbage or just about any that you like, however these should be added once the meat is almost cooked or else they will be overcooked and mushy. If using a slow cooker, add the veggies 1 to 2 hours before end of cooking. Do try the recipe and let us know how you liked it.
