Barbecued Heart

This barbecued heart is a great meal idea for a lazy Sunday afternoon. A one dish meal that would give you a lot of free time to spend with family. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
  Beef heart 1⁄2
  Onions 2 Medium, shredded
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Cut heart into 1/2-inch cubes; place in pressure cooker pan with 1 cup boiling water. Cook at 10 pounds pressure for 1 hour. Set aside to cool

MAKING
2. Brown onions in margarine; stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer sauce for 45 minutes.
3. Add heart; simmer for about 30 minutes longer.

SERVING
4. Serve on rice, noodles or toast.

TIP
Three lamb or pork hearts may be substituted for beef heart.

Not sure why this is called Barbecued Heart? When I BBQ hearts, I slice them and marinate in lemon, oil and garlic, then pop them on skewers and grill or BBQ 'em! Delicious
