Picnic Short Ribs
|Toasted sesame seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|English cut short ribs||2 1⁄2 Pound|
|Unseasoned meat tenderizer||1 Tablespoon|
|Scallions||2 , chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Monosodium glutamate||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Crush sesame seed.
Cut short ribs with bones into 2-inch pieces; slash at 1/2-inch intervals lengthwise and crosswise.
Rub with tenderizer; let stand for 1 hour.
Combine remaining ingredients in deep bowl; mix well.
Add short ribs; marinate for 30 minutes.
Remove short ribs.
Grill over hot coals until done.
