Chili Con Carne Sauce
|Pork/Veal||1⁄2 Pound, ground twice|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), finely minced (Or More To Taste)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Tomato puree||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomato paste||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground cumin seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon (Or More To Taste)|
Cook meat, onion, and garlic in olive oil until meat loses color.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to sauce consistency.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes.
When finished, the sauce should have the consistency of thick soup.
If necessary, thin with additional tomato puree.
