Grilled Pork Or Beef Appetizers A La Geimer

Ingredients
  Soy sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Hot red pepper sauce 2 Dash
  Ground cloves 1 Dash
  Lean pork tenderloin/Beef sirloin 1 Pound, cut into bite-size thin strips
  Fresh pineapple 1 Small, peeled and cut in bite-size chunks
  Green pepper 1 Medium, cleaned and cut in 3/4 inch squares
Directions

Combine first 7 ingredients in bowl; mix.
Add meat; mix.
Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Drain meat, reserving marinade.
String meat, pineapple and green pepper on heavy bamboo skewers.
Arrange on cooking grill over drip pan; cover kettle and cook 5 to 10 minutes for beef and 10 to 15 minutes for pork, or until meat is done, basting with marinade during cooking.
Turn 2 or 3 times.
Protect hand with asbestos glove before turning kabobs.
