Grilled Pork Or Beef Appetizers A La Geimer
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Hot red pepper sauce||2 Dash|
|Ground cloves||1 Dash|
|Lean pork tenderloin/Beef sirloin||1 Pound, cut into bite-size thin strips|
|Fresh pineapple||1 Small, peeled and cut in bite-size chunks|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, cleaned and cut in 3/4 inch squares|
Combine first 7 ingredients in bowl; mix.
Add meat; mix.
Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours, stirring 2 or 3 times.
Drain meat, reserving marinade.
String meat, pineapple and green pepper on heavy bamboo skewers.
Arrange on cooking grill over drip pan; cover kettle and cook 5 to 10 minutes for beef and 10 to 15 minutes for pork, or until meat is done, basting with marinade during cooking.
Turn 2 or 3 times.
Protect hand with asbestos glove before turning kabobs.
