Seashell Provolone Casserole

Ingredients
  Onions 3 Medium, finely chopped
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Ground beef 2 Pound
  Spaghetti sauce 15 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Jar, Plain)
  Canned stewed tomatoes 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Garlic salt 1 Teaspoon
  Seashell macaroni 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Provolone cheese 8 Ounce, sliced (1 Package)
  Commercial sour cream 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Shredded mozzarella cheese 4 Ounce (1 Cup)
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Follow directions on package to cook macaroni. Add only ½ teaspoon salt. Drain.

MAKING
2)In a large skillet, saute onions until tender.
3)Add ground beef and stir vigorously to crumble meat.
4)Now add, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, tomatoes and garlic salt. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes.
5)In a deep 4 quart greased casserole, place half of cooked macaroni. Layer with meat sauce, half provolone and sour cream.
6)Continue to repeat the layers and top the final layer with mozzarella cheese.
7)Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.

SERVING
8)Serve as main dish with wine.
