Stir Fried Beef And Vegetables On Rice
|Ground meat||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Frozen)|
|Frozen pea pods||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Instant beef bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced and separated into rings|
|Celery stalks||2 , sliced|
|Sliced water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Hot cooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
GETTING READY 1) In a large saucepan, combine Freezer Ground Meat Mix and 1/4 cup of water to thaw the mix. 2) Over low heat, cover and simmer and cook for 15 minutes. 3) Using a fork, break up mix and cook further for 5 minutes. 4) Over pea pods, run hot water in colander till partially thawed. 5) Preheat a wok or large skillet over high heat. MAKING 6) In a small bowl, dissolve bouillon granules in a cup of boiling water and stir in soy sauce. 7) Combine cornstarch and sugar and stir into the soy sauce mixture. 8) Set aside the mixture. 9) In preheated skillet, add oil. 10) Fry onion and celery in hot oil for 2 minutes. 11) Add water chestnuts and meat mixture and stir-fry a minute more. 12) From center of wok or skillet, push the mixture. 13) To the center of wok or skillet, stir bouillon mixture. 14) Cook till thickened and bubbly. 15) To wok, ad pea pods and stir all together.
16) Cover and cook for 1 minute. SERVING 17) Serve hot.
