Braised Beef Neapolitan

Ingredients
  Braising steaks 8 Ounce
  Tomatoes 1 Pound, skinned and chopped
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Bay leaf 1
  Mixed dried herbs 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 350°F (Gas Mark 4).
2) In a bowl mix all the ingredients except steak.

MAKING
3) Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
4) Broil for about 5 minutes on both sides.
5) Transfer the steaks to a casserole and pour over the tomato mixture.

FINALIZING
6) Depending on the texture of the meat braise in the oven for 1 to 2 hours.

SERVING
7) Serve hot.
