Beef And Bean Patties
|Minute rice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Seasoned pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Canned barbecue beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Bottled hot pepper sauce||1 Dash|
|Shredded sharp american cheese||2 Ounce (Or 1/2 Cup)|
In bowl combine egg, uncooked rice, water, onion, garlic salt, and seasoned pepper.
Add beef; mix well.
Shape into six 4-inch patties.
Place in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish.
Micro-cook, covered, till done, about 6 to 7 minutes, rearranging patties in dish after 4 minutes.
Spoon off excess fat.
Combine beans, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce.
Spoon over patties.
Micro-cook, covered, till heated through, about 4 minutes, turning dish after 2 minutes.
Top with cheese.
Micro-cook, uncovered, till cheese melts, about 1 minute.
