Saucy Corned Beef Burgers

Ingredients
  Canned corned beef 12 Ounce, finely chopped
  Salad dressing/Mayonnaise 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Instant minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Prepared horseradish 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Beaten egg 1
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Fine dry bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Sharp process american cheese slice 3
  Canned mixed vegetables 8 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Combine corned beef, mayonnaise, onion, horseradish, and pepper; shape into 6 patties.
Blend egg and water; dip patties into egg, then crumbs.
Brown lightly in hot shortening.
Place patties in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Quarter cheese slices diagonally; overlap 2 triangles atop each patty.
Drain vegetables.
Combine with soup and milk; heat.
Pour over patties.
Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
