Beef And Scallop Saute

Ingredients
  Peanut oil 2 Tablespoon
  Minced fresh garlic 1 Teaspoon
  Trimmed beef tenderloin 1 Pound, cut into pieces 1/2 inch thick, then halved crosswise (Narrow End)
  Sea scallops 3⁄4 Pound
  Diagonally sliced green onion 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Flavored brine 1 Tablespoon
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Red pepper flakes 1 Pinch
Directions

Heat oil in wok or large skillet until almost smoking.
Add garlic and beef, then scallops, and stir-fry about 30 seconds.
Add remaining ingredients and stir-fry beef and scallops another 20 to 30 seconds.
