Fideo Laredo

Ingredients
  Vermicelli 12 Ounce, uncooked
  Onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Butter/Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beef broth 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Taco sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Jalapeno pepper 1 Medium, chopped
  Garlic chips 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Saute vermicelli and onion, in butter or oil, stirring constantly, until vermicelli is browned.
Combine beef broth, taco sauce, jalapeno (if desired) garlic chips and salt; stir into vermicelli, breaking the twists apart with a spoon.
Simmer uncovered, stirring constantly, until vermicelli is tender and sauce is thick, about 4 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
