Brandied Fillet of Beef
|Beef fillet||2 Pound (1 Kilogram)|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Soya sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon, mixed with 2 cloves of garlic, crushed|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. Mix oil, brandy, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, a dash of soya sauce, salt and pepper and place the beef in the mixture and marinate at room temperature for about 8 hours.
2. Place the fillets in foil and spread the garlic butter on the top of each fillet, sprinkle with a little parsley. Wrap in the foil sealing the edges and cook for about 1 hour in a moderate oven 350°F (180°C).
