Easy Flat Iron Steak

The flat iron steak is a relative newcomer in the butchers counter. The best part is that it is the cheapest cut of beef that you would find in the market.
Ingredients
  Flat iron steaks/2lb flank steak -1 2 Pound (2 steaks of 1 Pound each)
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), mashed
  Chopped italian parsley 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped rosemary 1 Teaspoon
  Sauvignon 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (illa Mt Eden Grand Reserve Cabernet)
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste (generous amount)
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and marinate steak for one hour. Grill over hot coals 4 minutes per side. This steak is best cooked rare to medium rare. Make sure you dont overcook it, unless that is how you like your steak.

I found this flat iron steak recipe on yahoo somewhere - of course, I am spending more time on these food blogs than I should .. but this quite a nice recipe, so try it!
