Easy Flat Iron Steak
The flat iron steak is a relative newcomer in the butchers counter. The best part is that it is the cheapest cut of beef that you would find in the market.
|Flat iron steaks/2lb flank steak -1||2 Pound (2 steaks of 1 Pound each)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), mashed|

|Chopped rosemary||1 Teaspoon|
|Sauvignon||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (illa Mt Eden Grand Reserve Cabernet)|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste (generous amount)|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and marinate steak for one hour. Grill over hot coals 4 minutes per side. This steak is best cooked rare to medium rare. Make sure you dont overcook it, unless that is how you like your steak.
