Hurry Supper Bake
|Canned brown gravy||1 Pound (1 can)|
|Sliced beef||1 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant mashed potato||250 Gram (1 package)|
|Shredded process american cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Spread meat and gravy in small baking dish (we used an 8-inch shallow round baking dish).
Sprinkle with chopped onion.
Bake in hot oven (425°) 10 minutes or till hot.
Meanwhile, prepare instant potato (enough for 4 servings) according to package directions, but add last of liquid slowly, so you can omit a little if necessary, to make potatoes stiff enough to hold their shape.
Drop hot potatoes by spoonfuls over meat, making 4 mounds; sprinkle potato with shredded cheese.
Return to oven and bake about 3 minutes longer.
