Beef, Hungarian Style
|Beef round||2 Pound (1/4 inch thick)|
|Gravy sauce||1 Teaspoon (bottled)|
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Green pepper||To Taste, cut into strips|
|Tomatoes||3 Medium, cut into sixths|
|Instant beef bouillon||1 Ounce (1 envelope)|
About 1 1/2 hours before serving: Cut steak into 6 serving-size pieces.
In Dutch oven, saute steaks in butter until well browned.
Add bottled sauce for gravy, onions, green pepper, tomatoes, bouillon mix and 1 cup water.
Simmer, covered, about 1 hour or until steaks are fork-tender.
Serve with Garlic-Buttered Noodles.
(Pile noodles on heated platter; spoon steaks and sauce into center.)
