Horseradish Seasoned Beef
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Round steak||2 Pound, cut into 1-inch cubes|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
About 3 hours before serving: In plastic bag, mix flour, salt and pepper; shake meat in this mixture.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In Dutch oven over medium heat, in hot oil, brown meat well on all sides.
Add onions, Worcestershire, curry, molasses, ginger and 1 cup water; stir.
Cover; bake 2 1/2 hours or until meat is fork-tender.
Remove from oven; let stand few minutes to cool slightly.
Mix sour cream with horseradish; stir into meat.
Caution: If too hot, sour cream will curdle.
