My Favorite Beef Johnny Marzetti
|Wide egg noodles||10 Ounce, cooked and drained (1 Package)|
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Mushroom stems and pieces||2 1⁄2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), pressed or finely chopped|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (Undiluted, 1 Can)|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|American process cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Crumble ground beef into 3-quart casserole.
Add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, garlic and pepper.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until meat is set and onion is transparent.
Add cooked noodles and mushroom soup.
Pour tomato sauce over mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese.
MICROWAVE 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let stand 3 minutes.
Garnish with parsley, if desired.
