Beefy Tex Mex Dinner

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Canned tomatoes 20 Ounce (2 Can, With Green Chilies)
  Canned red kidney beans 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Long grain rice 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cumin 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shredded cheddar cheese 2 Ounce (1/2 Package)
Directions

In a medium skillet cook ground beef and onion till meat is brown and onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir undrained tomatoes with green chili peppers, kidney beans, water, rice, chili powder, and cumin into skillet.
Bring to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or till rice is tender.
Sprinkle with cheese.
