Curried Beef Cubes
|Beef chuck||2 Pound, cut into 3/4 inch cubes|
|Flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Salad oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, sliced to make 1 cup|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Seasoned tomato sauce||16 Ounce (Two 8 Ounce Cans, 2 Cups)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Curry powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Frozen french style green beans||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Hot cooked rice/Buttered noodles||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Roll beef cubes in flour and brown in hot oil.
Combine onion, garlic, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and water; pour over meat.
Cover and cook slowly over low heat till meat is fork-tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
Stir in the curry powder.
Add green beans and cook till tender, about 15 minutes, separating beans with fork as they heat.
