Baked Mustard Corned Beef

Ingredients
  Corned beef brisket 3 1⁄2 Pound
  Bay leaves 2
  Peppercorns 6
  Whole cloves 4
  Fat/Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), firmly packed
  Ketchup 5 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash beef; cover with cold water; add bay leaves and peppercorns; bring to a boil.
Boil 5 min.; remove scum; cover kettle; reduce heat; simmer 4 hrs., or until tender.
Remove to shallow baking pan.
Dot with whole cloves.
Combine remaining ingredients; cook until blended, stirring.
Pour over meat; bake in moderate oven of 350ยบ F 30 min., basting occasionally.
