Steamed Beef Baus With Water Chestnuts

Ingredients
  Uncooked rice 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Round steak 1 Pound, minced (450 Gram)
  Green onions 3 , finely chopped
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon, finely chopped
  Water chestnuts 2 , finely chopped
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
  Soy sauce 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Sherry 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Green vegetable leaves 4
  Soy sauce To Taste
  Chili pepper sauce To Taste
Directions

1 Place rice in a bowl, cover with water and soak for 1 -1 1/2 hours. Drain well and spread out on a tray to dry.
2 Combine steak, green onions, ginger, water chestnuts, egg, soy sauce and sherry; mix until well blended. Form mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches (4 cm) in diameter.
3 Roll each ball in rice until completely covered. Place balls on green vegetables in a steamer basket, leaving enough space between so they don't touch each other.
4 Place in a steamer and steam for 30 minutes over gently boiling water. Serve with soy and chili pepper sauces for dipping.
