Beef Tomato Gravy
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced green peppers||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt the shortening in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until brown.
Add the tomatoes and water and season with salt and pepper.
Add the onion and green peppers and cook over medium heat for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
