|Onion||1 , peeled and quartered|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry potato flakes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Stale bread slices||3 , broken in pieces|
|Minced beef||3⁄4 Pound|
|Minced pork||3⁄4 Pound|
Drop the first 6 ingredients into the glass part of a blender and cover.
Whiz until smooth.
Drop in the bread and whiz again.
Add seasonings to taste and pour over meats in a large beater bowl.
Beat on low speed until smooth.
Form into tiny meat balls and fry in a mixture of oil and butter shaking the pan until brown on all sides.
Chill and freeze.
Reheat and serve as tooth-picked appetizers with a chili sauce dip.
