Ingredients
  Bacon slices 4
  Beef 1⁄2 Pound, ground
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Spanish rice 15 Ounce
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp.
Remove the bacon, then drain and crumble.
Pour off all but 2 tablespoons dripping, then add the ground beef and onion and brown.
Stir in the rice, water, salt and crumbled bacon and cook until heated through.
