Beef, Tomato, And Noodle Supper

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Ground beef 6 Ounce
  Yellow onion 1 Medium, peeled and chopped
  Fresh tomatoes/1 can, 8 ounces tomatoes, chopped with their juice 2 Small, peeled and chopped
  Celery stalk 1 , finely chopped
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crumbled
  Dried oregano 1⁄4 Teaspoon, crumbled
  Uncooked egg noodles/Elbow macaroni / ziti 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Heat the butter in a heavy 8-inch skillet over moderate heat until bubbly.
Add the beef and onion, and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, or until the beef has browned and the onion is soft.
Add the tomatoes, celery, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and noodles.
Cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
