Barbecued Spare Ribs Dinner
|Garlic salt||To Taste|
|Barbecue sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Beef broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Wash and trim leeks.
Peel and slice kohlrabi.
Cut spareribs into servings and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Brown in a frying pan on both sides.
Layer leeks and kohlrabi in a 3-quart casserole or bake dish and cover with spareribs.
Pour over them a mixture of sauce and broth.
Cover and bake at 325F for 1 1/2 hours.
Halfway through the baking check for moisture and add a little boiling water if necessary.
