Auntie's Casserole

  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Canned garbanzo beans 15 Ounce, drained (1 Can, Chickpeas)
  Canned whole kernel corn 15 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Canned chili 15 Ounce (1 Can, You Can Use The Spicy Version If You Like)
  Sliced olives 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Good Quality)
  Cooked rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 2 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Grated cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Such As Sharp Cheddar Or Monterey Jack)

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Cook onion and beef until browned, turning only occasionally, about 5 to 7 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine browned meat mixture with garbanzos, corn, chili, olives, rice, salt, oregano, and thyme. Put in casserole or baking pan; cover with grated cheese.
3. Bake at 300° for about 1 hour or until lightly browned on top.
