Ground Beef N Raisin Stuffing
|Ground beef||4 Ounce|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground sage||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Corn bread||5 Cup (80 tbs), crumbled|
In medium saucepan cook beef and onion till meat is browned and onion is tender.
Remove from heat; drain off excess fat.
Stir in raisins, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, sage, and pepper.
Blend in beaten egg and chicken broth.
Combine with corn bread; toss to mix well.
Use to stuff two 2 1/2- to 3 pound broiler-fryer chickens (or one 6- to 7-pound capon) or bake, covered, in a 1-quart casserole at 375° about 25 minutes.
