Baked Sirloin Steak
|Sirloin steak||4 Pound (About 2 1/2 Inches Thick)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Hot pepper sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onions||4 , sliced|
|Carrots||2 , shredded|
|Ketchup/Tomato sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Heat a large iron skillet to sizzling hot.
Sear steak quickly until brown on both sides.
Remove steak to platter and season with salt and pepper.
Add remaining ingredients to skillet; mix well.
Cook for 5 minutes and pour off into small bowl.
Return steak to skillet; top with sauce.
Bake in preheated very hot oven (450° F.) for 20 to 30 minutes.
